The Innovative IQ Panel 4 Now Available from Mountain Alarm
Mountain Alarm now offers the IQ Panel 4, a new model from Qolsys that features several improvements on the previous award-winning models. The all-in-one IQ Panel 4 delivers the industry’s best security panel for connectivity and reliability on LTE, Wi-Fi, Z Wave, Bluetooth, PowerG, and legacy security wireless. It also includes a highly integrated and powerful IoT processor.
The elegant 7” HD touchscreen has an upgraded 8 Megapixel Panel Camera with Flex-Tilt to adjust camera angle for disarm photos and live peek-in and alarm videos. The new QuadSound speaker system allows music streaming over Bluetooth, and its SmartMount installation system provides easy wall or table-stand mounting options. It provides long-range securely encrypted wireless with compatibility for legacy security wireless already installed in the home or office.

Originally developed by Qolsys, a Silicon Valley based startup that revolutionized the security industry’s approach to the alarm system, the first-generation IQ Panel launched in 2014, followed by the award-winning IQ Panel 2 in 2016 and the award-winning IQ Panel 2 Plus in 2018. In 2020 Qolsys was acquired in its entirety by Johnson Controls, with the leadership team accepting key roles in Johnson Control’s Intrusion Division.
