Mountain Alarm Fire & Security was founded in 1952 when fire detection was in its infancy and monitoring consisted of an alarm ringing directly to the local fire station. Today, Mountain Alarm is still family owned and operated, providing security, automation, fire protection, monitoring, test and inspections, emergency communications services, access control, and video surveillance.

Mountain Alarm uses only the most reliable, state-of-the-art equipment and technology, and utilizes redundant UL-Listed central stations to monitor alarm activity. We offer products from the industry’s leading manufacturers of fire protection and security systems.

Fully owned and operated by Fire Protection Services Corporation, Mountain Alarm operates branches in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming. FPS also owns and operates CopperState Fire Protection, specializing in commercial fire protection throughout Arizona.
